local (to me) plant salves
these 2 products are very dear to my heart because they are formulated with plants that are native to the place i grew up and the place i live now. the desert healing salve contains chaparral, estafiate (Artemisia ludoviciana), california poppy and brittlebush (Encelia farinosa). it smells like the Sonoran desert after rain. the mountain healing balm contains pinyon and pine resins, cosmos, yarrow and mullein and smells like the forest on a warm, summer morning. i use them like perfumes, but they are also great all-purpose salves (pain relieving, antimicrobial and wound healing).
